Misana (Misana Terra Bridge) is an agricultural sourcing and export business based in Kenya. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit misanaterrabridge.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

• When you contact us. If you reach us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, company and sourcing requirements.
• Website analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog to understand how the site is used: pages visited, clicks and interactions, recordings of how pages are navigated (text you type into fields is masked), your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. We also receive reports of technical errors so we can fix them.
• Preferences on your device. We store a small note in your browser recording that you have seen our welcome animation and your cookie choice, so we don't ask again.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) to deliver and secure the website.

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and samples, and manage orders and shipments.
• To understand which pages and information are useful to buyers, and to improve the website.
• To find and fix technical problems, and to keep the website secure.

We rely on your consent for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in responding to you and running our business for enquiries and orders. We do not sell your information.

Analytics only run if you choose Accept on our cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent, and the website works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time.

• PostHog, our analytics provider, which processes analytics data on our behalf on servers in the United States.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Google (Gmail) and Meta (WhatsApp), when you choose to contact us through those services. Their own privacy policies apply to those platforms.

Some of these providers process data outside Kenya. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide for international transfers.

We keep enquiry and order correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for improving the website, and is then deleted.

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
• object to processing, or withdraw your consent at any time;
• receive a copy of your information in a portable format.

You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya, or to the data protection authority where you live.
